The
true test of an architect and an interior designer is to design a
residence for their parents and then see the project through to
completion. The existing
residence, a camp on Saratoga Lake, was deficient in many aspects and with
the desire of the owners to create a year round residence much work had to
be done to the existing structure. The
existing design of the house also lacked the sense of unity with the lake
and the surroundings. Through
many trials and tribulations a very elegant solution was proposed and
built, a tangible testament to the power of ideas.
