This residence, done in
collaboration with Joseph’s Architectural Professors at college, was
designed as a modern interpretation of the Adirondack Great Camps.
A model was constructed with a high level of detail and
craftsmanship to ensure that the complicated roof design would work as
planned and that the residence portrayed the rustic architecture of the
Great Camps. The interior of
the residence was designed to be beautifully lit from above by a unique
ridge skylight. The rustic
detailing of the exterior was carried over to the interior with the use of
a combination of barked and de-barked logs.
