This residence poised a unique challenge for everyone involved from the owner to the contractors as well as our office. The existing timber frame home needed more space for an expanding family using construction techniques to match the original house. Once the addition had been designed a local contractor and heavy timber frame company was hired to complete the task. Through close coordination between the team members the addition should integrate itself seamlessly into the existing house.
