View from Lake
This project involved the remodeling
and addition to an existing residence on
Lake George
. A comprehensive undertaking
that took a great deal of coordination & planning throughout the
duration of the project. This
project uses a rich palette of natural materials and colors on both the
interior and exterior. Outside
the natural stone, slate and cedar create an elegant composition of
materials and form. Out on the
lake, even with its large footprint, the low design appearance of the
residence allows the home to blend in and become part of the natural
surroundings on the point. Inside,
along with many custom designed features, there is extensive use of slate,
tile and natural wood that is extremely detailed.
This project is a true testament to quality craftsmanship and
detail, aspects often missing in the architecture of today.
